SabraConnect plans and prices

Updated

Short answer: SabraConnect is an Israel travel eSIM with a real Israeli (+972) phone number. It costs $25 for 30 days with 350GB of 5G data, or $20 for 14 days with 50GB. Both plans run on the Pelephone network (SabraConnect is an authorized Pelephone reseller) and include calls and SMS within Israel. Prices are in US dollars.

14-Day Top-Up$2050GB50 minutes50A short extension on your existing number

Both plans include an Israeli +972 number. On both plans (30-day and 14-day), WhatsApp, Google Maps, Waze, Instagram, Facebook and Tripadvisor are unlimited and don't count against your data allowance. Hotspot / tethering is allowed: share your plan's data with a laptop, tablet or travel companion. The 30-Day Plan is not unlimited: 350GB is the high-speed allowance.

How do I choose between the 14-day and 30-day plan?

Choose by data and calls, not only by trip length. The 14-Day Plan ($20) gives 50GB and 50 minutes, which suits maps, messaging and social media for two weeks.

The 30-Day Plan costs $5 more and gives 7× the data and 60× the minutes. Pick it if you'll stream video, work remotely or call Israeli numbers often, even on a trip shorter than 30 days.

When does my plan start?

You choose. Tap "Activate now", or schedule a start date up to 90 days ahead (it starts at 12:00 AM (midnight) Israel time). If you don't choose a date, the plan starts automatically 30 days after purchase. Installing the QR code alone does not start it.

How do top-ups work?

A top-up is added to your existing SabraConnect number as soon as payment clears, with no new installation. Use one to stay longer or to get more data. Top-ups are not refundable once applied to the line (except where required by law).

Refunds and payment

Full refund within 30 days of purchase if the eSIM has not been activated. Checkout is in US dollars through Stripe: Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

The QR code arrives by email right after payment; on iPhone there's also a one-tap install link.

What phone do I need?

You need a carrier-unlocked, eSIM-capable phone: typically iPhone XS and later, Samsung Galaxy S20 and later (including Z Fold / Z Flip) or Google Pixel 3 and later. Dial *#06#: if an EID appears, the phone supports eSIM.

Limitations to know

Our recommendation

For most trips to Israel, the 30-Day Plan at $25 is the safe choice: it costs $5 more than the 14-Day Plan and removes any need to watch data or minutes. If your trip is two weeks or shorter and you mostly use maps and messaging, the 14-Day Plan at $20 is enough.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an Israel eSIM cost with SabraConnect?

$25 for 30 days: 350GB of data, 3,000 minutes and 1,500 SMS within Israel, or $20 for 14 days: 50GB of data, 50 minutes and 50 SMS within Israel. Both include an Israeli +972 number.

Is there a cheaper plan for a short trip?

The 14-Day Plan at $20 is the lowest-priced plan. For a few days of light data use, a small data-only plan from a global eSIM brand can cost less, but it won't include an Israeli number.

What's included in the price?

The eSIM, the Israeli +972 number and the plan's data, minutes and SMS. Checkout is in US dollars, so a card issued in another currency may carry your bank's conversion fee.

Is the 30-day plan unlimited?

No. It includes 350GB of high-speed data. WhatsApp, Google Maps, Waze, Instagram, Facebook and Tripadvisor don't count against it.

Can I use my phone as a hotspot?

Yes. Hotspot / tethering is allowed, and it uses your plan's data like any other use.

Can I extend my plan?

Yes. Buy a 30-Day Top-Up ($24) or a 14-Day Top-Up ($20). It's applied to your existing number as soon as payment clears.

Can I buy now and travel later?

Yes. Schedule a start date up to 90 days ahead. If you don't pick a date, the plan starts 30 days after purchase.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. Full refund within 30 days of purchase if the eSIM has not been activated.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, through Stripe. Checkout is in US dollars.

Do I keep my WhatsApp number?

Yes. Keep your home SIM switched on and use the eSIM for data. WhatsApp keeps your usual number.
