What are the best mobile-data options for the Huawei P60 Pro in Israel?

Use a prepaid Israeli physical SIM, rent a pocket Wi-Fi device, use home-carrier roaming, or connect to a travel companion's hotspot.

Can I use a physical Israeli SIM in the Huawei P60 Pro?

Yes, provided the phone is carrier-unlocked and supports the physical SIM format offered by the local provider. Confirm network-band support with the provider before buying.

Can I keep using WhatsApp on the Huawei P60 Pro in Israel?

Yes. WhatsApp remains tied to your existing number and works over Wi-Fi, a local physical SIM's data connection, or a companion's hotspot.

Will the Huawei P60 Pro get 5G in Israel?

eSIM availability does not determine network speed. Check the phone's exact regional model and its supported bands with your carrier or the local provider before relying on 5G coverage.

Does the Huawei P60 Pro Support eSIM in Israel?

eSIM Support: No. SIM type: Physical SIM only. Network bands: LTE only (no 5G in many markets).

Your Options for Mobile Data in Israel with the Huawei P60 Pro

Local physical SIM: Buy a prepaid Israeli SIM card on arrival and insert it in place of (or alongside) your home SIM. See our Israel tourist SIM vs eSIM guide.
Pocket WiFi: A rented hotspot device works with any phone. Compare the costs in eSIM vs pocket WiFi in Israel.
Shared hotspot: If a travel companion's phone supports eSIM, they can install a SabraConnect plan (350GB of 5G) and share it with your Huawei P60 Pro over WiFi hotspot.
Home carrier roaming: Works without changing SIMs, but daily passes typically cost far more than a local option.
